DIRECTV Customer Communications Redesign

Role: Creative Director

Redesigned DIRECTV's monthly customer newsletter and supporting communications, including bill inserts, digital versions, quick start guides, and remote control reference materials.

Challenge
Improving engagement with recurring customer communications that typically get overlooked in monthly billing materials, while creating a system that worked across both print and mobile-optimized digital formats.

Approach
Developed a redesigned template system for monthly newsletters highlighting featured content, pay-per-view events, programming calendars, and device tips. Created complementary materials (quick start guides, remote guides, program lineups) using a cohesive visual language that balanced information density with readability across print and digital channels.

Outcome
Delivered an integrated communication system that streamlined DIRECTV's customer touchpoints. The redesigned materials provided a consistent, accessible experience across formats while improving the presentation of programming information and product education.
